Base and writing / art board

This is the primary base unit, into which a variety of boards, as well as the basins, may be slotted. It can sit flat or may be tilted at an angle. The boards can also be fitted into a vertical position for a different perspective.

Perspex tracing screen

This is a popular activity board in the classroom. It allows the student to place a sheet behind the perspex, which can then be traced, using white-board markers. Get it wrong – wipe it clean and start all over again, ’til you get it right!

Craft board

The craft board is a non-stick board that is suitable for rolling out pastry and other baking projects. It can also be used for modelling clay and many other messy activities. Easy to clean!

Stainless Steel Basin

Turn your classroom table into a water table. The stainless steel basin allows for an endless array of play possibilities around the table. It is especially useful for special needs activities when teaching personal grooming.

Plastic Basin

The plastic basin is strong and sturdy. It is well suited to holding heavy things, like sand and water. Or it can come in handy to hold balls, blocks and toys. It is useful when baking – or even just making secret potions, which can get a bit messy.

Building-block board

The building-block board is popular with all children. It can securely slot into the base unit and may be used flat or tilted at an angle.

Disc holders (2 types)

These disc holders keep the collection of plastic discs tidily together – while playing with them and also for when they are not in use. There are 2 types – one allows the discs to be stacked neatly in lines. The other is to store loose pegs and other small items. Use either in the Acteboard base unit or on your table top.

Green peg & disc board

Green peg & disc board, with “Discovery Pouch”, attached to back with pack of black nuts & bolts x 4. Includes sheet of laminated cardboard discs and set of 100 plastic, multi-colour discs with 2 sheets of stickers.

White board

Write-and-rub-off time-after-time with your non-permanent marker. Use your magnetic numbers, letters, animals, funny faces… it’s never ending!

Velcro board with hook-and-loop velcro

Fix your numbers, letters, velcro darts, velcro balls –and much more– to the velcro board.

Mirror board

This activity board is beneficial to teachers and therapists, caring for young people with special needs and abilities. Personal grooming is an important part these young people’s education. See your activities from a different perspective!

Quickstore Rack

When we designed the Acteboard activity table, we had classroom storage in mind, with the Quickstore Rack. When your table is being used as an activity table, the timber infills may be stored securely and neatly in the bottom tray. And when in use as a flat table, the activity base sets can be stored here.

It is a particularly useful mobile storage solution, which can be positioned beside your table while working and then quickly wheeled to designated store area. It has fully lockable wheels which make it solid and safe.

Tidy Away Trolley

When it comes to classroom storage, the Tidy Away Trolley is specially designed for the job.

It has two shelves which can house up to four toast racks and it will tidily store your Acteboard activitiy items. It is also suitable for holding basins, or unfinished work or extra activity boards.

It is a particularly useful mobile storage solution, which can be positioned beside your table while working and then quickly wheeled to designated store area. It has fully lockable wheels which make it solid and safe.

“Toast” Rack

When it comes to classroom storage, the “Toast Rack” does a great job of keeping your Acteboard activitiy boards tidy. It will keep aside unfinished work safely, to be continued at another time. It also provides lots of storage space for extra activity boards. 

It is a practical and useful mobile storage solution, which can be moved easily from place to place. It can sit on your table top or may easily be stored neatly in the Tidy-away Trolley.

Starter Box

• A red base unit which slots into the cut-out hole in the table. Sits flat or angles.
• Stainless steel basin with drop-down handles. There is a brush & dustpan set to go with this.
