As 2025 comes to a close, we want to thank the clinicians, teams, families, and partners who continue to trust us. This year has been filled with innovation, education, and meaningful collaborations across Ireland. Together, we have made great strides in improving comfort, safety, and dignity for the people we support.

Product Highlight: Innovys II L70
A Purpose-Built Solution for Dementia Care
In 2025, we launched the Innovys II L70, designed specifically for people with later-stage dementia, supporting complex needs such as:
- Paratonia
- High tone and rigidity
- Sensory-driven movement
- Trunk instability
- Poor midline orientation
- Reduced arousal regulation
Supporting the Nervous System Through Proprioception
For many individuals with dementia, the nervous system is highly reactive. The L70 meets proprioceptive needs through:
- Deep, calming, graded envelopment
- Pelvic support that stabilises posture and improves safety
- Enhanced midline positioning
- Reduced paratonia through predictable, regulating support
- Improved opportunities for mealtimes, interaction, and comfort
The response from clinicians throughout Ireland has been exceptional, with strong early outcomes in both nursing home and community settings.

Supporting 24-Hour Postural Care
We continued to promote the importance of Make Rehab 24-hour bed positioning to complement good seating.
Key benefits include:
- Reduced pain, pressure, and asymmetry
- Improved proprioception, helping settle the nervous system
- Safer rest for people with complex movement patterns
- Consistent therapeutic positioning throughout the day and night
- Prevention of avoidable deterioration
When seating and lying support work together, quality of life improves significantly—especially for people with dementia, frailty, or limited mobility.

SPOTAG – Seating & Positioning OT Advisory Group Study Day (November 2025)
A major highlight was attending the Seating and Positioning Occupational Therapists Advisory Group (SPOTAG) study day in November.
O Neill Healthcare introduced the Innovys II L70 to this highly skilled group, and we were inspired by the presentations from OTs specialising in complex seating, postural care, dementia, and long-term equipment provision.
The day reinforced the value of:
- Strong MDT collaboration
- Consistent clinical reasoning
- Nervous system-focused postural management
- Matching equipment to sensory, proprioceptive and functional needs
We look forward to continuing our work with this committed clinical community in 2026.

Spex Seating – Education & Demo Days
A special thank you to Bruce Mascull, from Spex Seating, who joined us for a series of seating education and demo days in 2025.
Bruce’s expertise, enthusiasm, and passion for complex seating brought exceptional depth to each session.
We are delighted to announce that further Spex demo days are already planned for 2026.
