The Manta is a shoulder-height back support which can relieve pressure and provide support, especially useful for users who need tilt. It has a solid shell with unique built-in lateral trunk supports that are width and height adjustable to give excellent lateral stability.

- Dual-Orientation Cover Design: Unique cover can be flipped 180 degrees, enabling the lateral trunk supports to be positioned either higher or lower, providing optimal fit and lateral trunk control tailored to the user’s needs
- Superior Comfort: Memory foam inner lines the center of the back support
- Neoprene Lateral Support Covers: Provide a soft, comfortable surface where the arms contact the lateral area e.g. when self-propelling
- Integrated Harness Retainer: A discreet fabric loop at the top of the back support helps keep anterior trunk supports tidy and in place (please note this is not intended for clinical positioning – for this purpose, please add Spex Harness Guides)
- Powerchair Compatibility: Cover design maintains access to the back support shell for easy attachment to power wheelchair interfaces and back plates
- Easy-to-Remove Cover: The zipper runs around the entire rear edge of the back support, making it simple to remove for washing and to replace the foam insert afterwards.
- TSS and Wedge Compatibility: Velcro surface behind the foam inner allows for compatibility with the Spex TSS and other positioning wedges
- Swing-Away Lateral Option: Swing-away laterals are available as an option, allowing for easier transfers
