The Butterfly is a long, wide, stable transfer board intended to bridge longer gaps when performing seated transfers. The board can be used when transferring between bed and wheelchair, shower chair/toilet, or in and out of the car.
Excellent stability
The cutouts for positioning close to the wheel of a wheelchair and the non-slip pads on the underside provide excellent stability, reducing the risk of unwanted movement or sliding during transfers. The board's upper surface has very low friction, allowing users to transfer independently or with assistance.
Immedia Butterfly GlideWing
The Butterfly can be used with the special Butterfly GlideWing, for additional slide function. The GlideWing slides along the board with even lower friction and is recommended when the transfer involves bare skin, such as to and from a shower chair or toilet.
